Single Stream Recycling

Massena participates in a Single Stream Recycling program -- allowing all recyclable items to be mixed together for collection.  For more information view our 2013 Recycling Flyer.

  • All recyclable items - paper, plastic, metal and glass - are put in a single bin less than 35 gallons in capacity

  • Plastic bags are not recyclable - no string, no trash, no green waste and no plastic bags or plastic wrap of any kind should be mixed with your recyclables
  • Recyclables should be empty and cleaned of all residue
